Through immersive VR, we showcased the transformative potential of autonomous vehicles. The first experience, Today, takes viewers on a backseat journey in a current-day autonomous vehicle, filmed along Oxford’s AV trial route. Featuring an introduction by Stephen Kyberd from Oxbotica, engaging narration, and graphic overlays, this 8-minute experience brings the thrill of autonomous travel to life. Over 2,000 people explored it from home via Google Cardboard.

As restrictions eased, Project Endeavour resumed in-person trials in Greenwich, where audiences experienced Tomorrow—a fully animated vision of a future city where autonomous and electric vehicles dominate the streets. Produced by Marco and Phillip Sandeman, with spatial sound by Oliver Kadel, this captivating glimpse into the future highlighted the possibilities of sustainable urban transport.

"East City Films brought incredible creative energy and vision to our project while staying on budget and on schedule. Ash, Darren, and the team were flexible and responsive, overcoming challenges like Covid restrictions and capturing complex road scenarios. The animated world they created is both visually stunning and deeply insightful. We can’t wait to collaborate with them again."
