In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats Wins Best XR Film at Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival

We are absolutely thrilled to share that In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats has been awarded Best XR Film at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival, presented by Evaveo.
This recognition is a huge honour and a testament to the immersive power of the experience we’ve created. Since its debut, Beats has taken audiences on an electrifying journey back to the heart of the Acid House movement, and to see it continue to resonate so deeply is incredibly rewarding.
The Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival is one of the world’s most prestigious platforms for short films and immersive storytelling, and to receive this accolade is a proud moment for us. It reinforces our belief that XR storytelling can transport audiences in ways never before possible—whether that’s diving into the underground rave scene of 1989 or creating new ways to experience history and culture.
A massive thank you to our entire team, our partners, and everyone who has supported Beats along the way. With our multiplayer version premiering at the Barbican this summer, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats.
Stay tuned for more news, and if you haven’t experienced Beats yet, now’s the time!
