"In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats" Wins at Adelaide Fringe
We are thrilled to announce that In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats has won the Best Film & Digital: Interactive Award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. This accolade further recognises the hard work, creativity, and passion that have fuelled this project from its inception.
First and foremost, we must express our heartfelt thanks to Mark Atkin and Tom Millen at Crossover Labs and Electric Dreams. Their vision and commitment were pivotal in bringing Beats to Adelaide. We also extend our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers whose dedication ensured the success of this exhibition. Your contributions were invaluable and greatly appreciated.
The journey of In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats is one of collaboration and belief. From Tony Guillan and the supporters at Coventry City of Culture who laid the foundations, believing in its potential from the very start. To Ollie Lindsey and the team at All Seeing Eye who was instrumental in shaping the experience, infusing it with innovation and depth.
We cannot forget the support provided by the Film Fund team at the BFI, whose backing was vital to the existence and success of the project. The expertise and hard work of Andrew, Jon and Tom at Transmission TX were second to none as always, and we are profoundly thankful for their contributions. A special thank you goes to Dan Tucker, Conan Roberts, Marco Sandeman, Gareth Fry, and many others who played crucial roles in this journey.
The reception of In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats in Australia has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are filled with gratitude. We look forward to the possibility of returning to Australia in the future and continuing to share Beats with audiences worldwide.
Finally, we are excited to share that there are new developments on the horizon for East City Films and BPM XR. Stay tuned for more updates – watch this space!
