A Stellar Week at the Venice Film Festival: Celebrating Success, Impact, and Human Connection

The recently concluded Venice Film Festival was not just a film extravaganza but an event that left an indelible mark on everyone involved. This year, we had the privilege of sharing the incredible impact of a film dedicated to the story of holocaust survivor Marion Deichmann, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

Audience Captivated by 'Letters From Drancy'

The film "Letters From Drancy" emerged as a festival favourite, garnering not just critical acclaim but a deep emotional response from the audience. The moving narrative and exceptional storytelling struck a chord with everyone who had the opportunity to see it.

For excellence in mixing showing and telling aspects of spatial storytelling, I was moved the most by this piece. Lots of interesting mixtures of styles and forms ground in 360 video, but adding in layers of projection mapping techniques, animation all to have a great balance between showing and telling this story that really sticks the landing in the end.

Marion Deichmann: A Beacon of Elegance and Wisdom

Marion enchanted attendees with her captivating presence. She was invited to join a panel discussion that our director Darren was also a part of. Marion spoke eloquently and beautifully, leaving a lasting impact on those lucky enough to hear her insights.

A Day to Remember: Drinks Event with the Illinois Holocaust Museum

Our collaborative drinks event with the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center was a memorable event. The CEO of the museum, Bernard Cherkasov graced us with his attendance, creating fantastic connections that promise to take our mutual goals to new heights.

A Festival of Relationships

This week was more than just a showcase; it was a transformative experience that solidified friendships and professional relationships alike. We felt the palpable power of this film about a Holocaust survivor and are inspired to share it with an even broader audience.
