Kandao Obsidian on set with East City Films

360° Video Production

East City Films has led the way in 360° video production and virtual reality production since 2014. We have a team of some of the best in the business. Technically speaking our knowledge of 360° filming and 360° cameras is unrivalled and we will always make sure the right camera is used for a specific shot - often we will use three or four different cameras on any given shoot. Our 360° experience and understanding of movement is second to none and we strive to give our viewers the most enjoyable experience possible. Whether it be a multi-layered documentary in 3D or fast turnaround event capture purely for use on phone and laptop, we will deliver on your high expectations.

As the desire for immersive experiences has grown, we have created VR content for MTV, ITV, the BBC and countless brands. We constantly strive to push the boundaries of VR production. This has led to the production of the first ever 360° video content of The Grand National, which received 3.5 million views. We’ve created stereoscopic 360° video for San Miguel in the Swiss Alps and Comic Relief in Uganda. We’ve developed a successful 360 degree VR video of a live angioplasty for the British Heart Foundation. Working with The National Theatre we have produced marketing content for the Barbershop Chronicles, an original piece called The King Of Infinite Space and developed an upcoming piece which is currently under wraps. We are also responsible for some of the most celebrated VR documentaries ever made, which have been shown at Tribeca, Cannes, Sheffield and IDFA.
